Helpdesk Manager

Helpdesk Manager

If you're seeing this form it means our HR manager liked your resume and invited you to fill this out. It means your foot is in the door.

Please be aware: though we do ask some boilerplate application questions, this form is not a job application. It is a written interview intended to assess your written communication, management, and technical experience. It was created by the Director of Operations - the hiring manager of this role. Each submission is reviewed by the hiring manager, and you should consider this form the first opportunity to speak directly with the hiring manager.

This is a long form. If you can't complete it in one sitting that's fine. You can save it and come back to it.

Thank you for taking the time to fill this out. We genuinely appreciate submissions that show an applicant has put some effort into writing good answers.

Please note: Direct plagiarism or use of ChatGPT (or other AI chatbots) to generate form answers will result in disqualification.

Please make an effort to answer all questions. Answers of 'NA' or other input that merely satisfies the 'required field' component seriously detract from your overall entry. You don't need to write paragraphs of text for each question, we just ask for valid, meaningful answers.

Important note:
While we are excited for your interest in this position, we will adhere strongly to the following requirements:

- Demonstrated experience managing an IT helpdesk in an MSP or other multi-customer environment: this is a direct hire of a manager to an existing group of technicians. This is not an entry level manager position. Please keep that in mind if you proceed with this questionnaire.
- This position is remote, however there is a requirement to be available for in-person meetings in the Atlanta Metro area (we do quarterly planning meetings in person, and meet from time to time at our corporate office in Conyers, GA)
- The salary range for this position is 70-80K. If your salary expectations exceed this range, we might face limitations.
